  • Clinical Assessment: Focus on patient evaluation, including history-taking, physical examination, and diagnostic skills.

 

  • Treatment Techniques: Hands-on training in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions.

 

  • Specialized Tracks: Trainees can opt for specialized tracks based on their interests, such as sports physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or neurological physiotherapy.

Practical Experience:Trainees are actively involved in treating patients under the supervision of experienced physiotherapists. This hands-on experience allows them to apply theoretical knowledge in a clinical setting.

 

Certification:Upon successful completion of the training program, participants receive a certification from Sahara Physiotherapy Hospital, acknowledging their proficiency and readiness for professional practice.

Physical Rehabilitation Assistant

This training program is affiliated with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT)

Physical Rehabilitation Assistant (PRA) course is prepared and implemented by Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), a national autonomous apex body of Technical and Vocational Education and Training sector in Nepal.

The main aim of this curricular program is to produce skilled workforce in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation by providing training to the paramedics and link them to employment opportunities. The aims of this guide are:- 

To produce basic level technical workforce in the area of physiotherapy and rehabilitation

To produce such technical workforce who will be able to serve community people through the application of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques being an entrepreneur.

Duration: The total duration of the program will 330 hours plus one month (160 hrs) OJT

Target group: The target group for this training will be the candidate with 10th class passed.  CMA, ANM and all other paramedics are in priority.

Medium of Instruction: The medium of instruction for this training program will be Nepali or English or both.

Scholarship: Candidates from rural area are eligible to apply for scholarship. Sahara Hospital has been providing 10 to 50 percent deduction in total fees to the candidates from rural areas.
